EXTINGUISHER BOARDS, THE FULL STORY!

Your Fire Extinguisher Board starts its life as a 2440 x 1220 x 2.85mm 1050 Grade Aluminium sheet. Aluminium is used because of its strong, durable, non ferrous and lightweight properties. The stock aluminium sheet is then laser cut to size incorporating radius corners and planed edges to ensure minimal sharpness. Depending on how and where you intend to install your Extinguisher Board we then either pre-drill holes for wall mounting or fix channel to the reverse of the panel using countersunk rivets for post / rail mounting. Following this process the extinguisher board is then powder coated white on the front and grey on the reverse to further enhance durability and aesthetics. The majority of other extinguisher storage solutions on the market are manufactured from injection moulded plastic or PVC which over time become brittle, faded and are often bulky and cumbersome in design meaning significant floor or wall space is needed.

Once we have received your order which specifies the types of extinguisher that you will be installing or if you are purchasing bespoke boards, the artwork is produced & checked by our In House Design Team and sent to production. We print your design using the latest HP Latex printer & Ultra high tack latex self adhesive vinyl. The benefits of these are excellent depth of colour, great image reproduction and permanent adhesion to the aluminium panel. We then apply a clear laminate which provides protection against UV light, chemicals, solvents and other substances which otherwise would damage the print or cause deterioration of the colours and graphics.

Our extinguisher boards incorporate all the necessary signage to comply with current legislation and fire regulations. As this is part of one complete print there is no chance of the signs falling off, going missing or deteriorating. Although we offer a standard design, we often produce bespoke artwork that includes company branding, fire board identification or specific additional signage according to the customers needs at no extra cost.

When you receive your extinguisher boards they will be carefully flat packed to ensure minimal package sizes and to eliminate any damage during transport. You will also receive an installation pack with extinguisher mounting brackets.  All you will need are a few basic tools, a little DIY ability and with larger boards, an extra pair of hands to hold the board in place whilst it is fixed.
